Bursledon Brickworks is an internationally significant site of industrial heritage, being the last steam driven brickworks to survive in the country. A lottery funded project helped to create the museum of bricks and brickmaking based in the Grade II* listed buildings.
Bursledon Brickworks Museum Trust is currently looking for new trustees with an interest in industrial heritage. The Trust was formed during the project to ensure the museum achieves the long-term aim to become a centre promoting the understanding of the history of bricks and brickmaking and the role of bricks in our heritage.
An interest in industrial heritage and preferably some knowledge and experience in one of these key areas:
