Singing for Fun Volunteer Choir Lead

Brendoncare Clubs are looking for volunteers to join us at our singing for fun virtual groups. We have two groups who usually meet in Gosport and Southampton. The aim of these is to provide an opportunity for friendship through an informal singing group.
You will need to be cheerful and articulate with some time to spare, a passion for singing and encouraging others to sing no matter what their skills and abilities.
Ideally you would have previous experience of running or being involved in a small choir or singing group? You are competent in the use of a keyboard / piano and reading sheet music?
Initially you will get to know the members and join in with our zoom singing sessions. Once we start to re-open the singing groups (as Government guidance allows), your support, skills and enthusiasm will help us to re-establish a much needed community resource. We would like someone who can run our sessions either as part of our regular choir groups or by delivering one off sessions across our other friendship groups. You would guide our members to learn new songs, practice existing songs and most importantly have fun!
