Job Vacancy: Part-Time Fundraising Manager

Initially a 1-year contract, with the potential of becoming permanent

Part-time, 21 hours per week – £15,837 (£28,282 FTE)

Gosport Voluntary Action (GVA) is seeking to appoint a Fundraising Manager to join its highly successful team.

With previous experience working in the voluntary sector, the Fundraising Manager will take the lead on developing and implementing a fundraising strategy.

Duties will include: researching Trusts and Foundations to identify those whose purpose and priorities best match GVA’s intentions; developing and submitting applications; identifying potential new corporate members and partners; developing and maintaining a stream of prospects and working with colleagues to approach them.

The role also involves the development of campaigns for individual giving, i.e. donations, Amazon Smile funds, etc., as well as research and implementation of digital fundraising opportunities, e.g. crowdfunding and social media.
