Job Vacancy: Community Engagement Co-ordinator
Part-time, 21 hours per week – £13.35 per hour
Gosport Voluntary Action’s busy and dynamic Community Engagement Team needs a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, who is passionate about supporting the local community, to join our busy team.
Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to identify needs in the Gosport area, supporting local groups and organisations to address them. If you would like to develop or continue your career in the voluntary sector, this role offers a varied and exciting opportunity to make a difference.
Duties will include: advising groups on matters of best practice, including structure, governance and policies and procedures appropriate to their needs; assisting groups to identify funding streams; advising on fundraising options and reviewing funding applications; advising on Trustee roles and responsibilities, assisting groups to find suitable candidates when required; and helping groups to register with the Charity Commission.
