Gosport Voluntary Action (GVA) and the Fareham Lions are pleased to announce that a new collection point for clean, plastic milk bottle tops, is available at GVA’s offices Monday-Thursday between 9am-3pm at Martin Snape House, 96 Pavilion Way, Gosport, PO12 1FG.
Fareham Lions have kindly provided a swing bin for collection – which is located at GVA’s reception desk. The plastic milk bottle tops will be collected periodically by colleagues from the Fareham Lions and taken to GHS Recycling, Portsmouth. These will be processed via specialist equipment and then used both in this country and as needed often in deprived countries, to create products including children’s playgrounds and benches.
Ian Reeves Chair of Trustees, GVA said “we are pleased to support the Lions and provide a Gosport drop off point for this recycling initiative for bottle tops.”
