Positive Day at the Health Forum

Gosport Voluntary Action held a Voluntary Sector Health Forum for Gosport and Fareham at St Vincent College’s Jervis Gallery on 6 September.
The event was very well attended, with representatives from 25 groups and organisations, and presentations including the Stroke Association, Cycle Gosport, Fareham College’s Memory Café, Surgery Signposting, Extra Care housing (Hampshire County Council), and Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, who explained the Priority Services register (those in need of extra support during power cuts, such as people with disabilities/chronic health conditions, people reliant on powered medical equipment, people over the age of 60 and children under the age of 5).
The next Health Forum takes place in Fareham on Tuesday 20 November.
