Celebrating ‘Making Every Contact Count’ in Gosport, Thurs 20 Sep

Celebrate with us the Making Every Contact Count (MECC) journey so far in Gosport.
MECC is an approach using every day interactions to support people to make positive changes to their physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Hundreds of staff and volunteers have already attended MECC training sessions and are already using these skills in Gosport to help others, but the journey is far from over. Join us in charting where MECC can go from here!

 

Who should attend? People managers, system leaders- anyone curious to learn how MECC could enhance their service or organisation; those trained in MECC and wanting to share their experiences and learn more; MECC trainers wishing to share good practice.
What is included? Fun MECC taster workshops, real examples of how these skills are used in a variety of settings, plus the chance to meet and share with others already using healthy conversation skills to support others.
Arrival and registration: 9:30am – 10am, event programme from 10am – 1pm, followed by a networking buffet lunch from 1pm- 2:30pm.
