#Local Charities Day
This year’s Local Charities Day will take place on 14 December and you can find out more on the blog by new Minister for Sport and Civil Society, Mims Davies.
Each year Local Charities Day shines a spotlight on the incredible work local charities do to build healthy and happy local communities. Everybody can get involved this year to show their appreciation for the charities in their area – volunteering their time, donating, celebrating their local charity champions and supporting in every way they can.
How you can become involved:
- Add your charity to the Local Charities Day Map and encourage others you know to add their details so people can find all of the great charities in their areas
- Download the Local Charities Day toolkit, with materials to help promote the day on your channels
- Add the #LocalCharitiesDay Twibbon to your social media profile pics
- Share pictures and stories of what you’re up to on social media using #LocalCharitiesDay
