Are you great with people, paperwork and processes?
Would you be interested in using your skills and time to help a local older or vulnerable resident make informed decisions about their lives, and have their voices heard and their rights recognised?
As a Volunteer Advocate with GVA, you could be helping a local resident to access and understand vital information, or you might be asked to attend meetings or interviews with a resident, in a supportive capacity. Other tasks may include writing a letter on the resident’s behalf, or speaking on behalf of the resident, in situations where they may not feel confident to speak for themselves.
If you’re passionate about making a difference in your local community, and think you might be a good fit for this varied and highly rewarding role, GVA would love to hear from you.
