This year is a little different, and due to us not being able to meet in person we are holding GVA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) online via Zoom on Tuesday 20 October 2020, 9.50am-11am.
If you are one of our (approx 200) member groups, your attendance as voting members is crucial in order for the AGM proceedings to take place, so we would be very grateful for your attendance and participation at our AGM. You should have already received an invitation by email, but if you haven’t, please email office@gva.org.uk and an invitation can be sent to you, or please view it here. If you are unable to attend, and you are a voting member, you can vote by proxy, either by nominating someone else to attend on your behalf, or by emailing your votes. All the details are in the invitation link above.
This has been a difficult year for us all, but it has also shown how strong and resilient our community is, and that if we work together we can achieve great things. The AGM will allow us to highlight some of the work that GVA has been involved in over the 2019/20 period, an update on our C-19 Community Response, and a look ahead to how we will be working with groups to respond to and recover from COVID-19.
Please join us at 9:50am for the meeting to start promptly at 10am. The AGM will conclude at 11am. A full agenda can be found here. If you have not used Zoom before then please watch this short video prepared by Hampshire County Council Library Service on how to install and use Zoom.
The Annual (Impact) Report and Audited Accounts are available to view here, or via email if you prefer. Please do take the time to read our Annual (Impact) Report in advance so that you can ask us any questions on the day!
We hope to see you on the 20th.
