Job Vacancy: Community Engagement Manager
Part-time, 28 hours per week – £29,381 (FTE) £21,938 for 28 hours
A fantastic senior management opportunity has arisen with Gosport Voluntary Action’s busy and dynamic Community Engagement Team for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, who is passionate about supporting the local community.
Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to identify needs in the Gosport area, supporting local groups and organisations to address them. If you would like to develop or continue your career in the voluntary sector, this role offers a varied and exciting opportunity to make a difference.
Duties will include: managing and developing GVA community projects and events, staff and volunteers; deputising for the Chief Executive Officer; enabling existing Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations to be sustainable, to meet their aims; and to assist new groups to develop so that they can meet identified needs in the local area.
