Gosport residents over 25 years of age are invited to channel their inner superhero and join Gosport Voluntary Action’s community volunteering group, VoluntHeroes, meeting at the Henry Cook Centre (formerly Waterside Community Church).
Tackling various volunteer projects in Gosport, members of this new group learn new skills, meet new people and develop their confidence, with activities including awareness/fundraising, litter picks and craft projects to name a few.
The group welcomes anyone who feels they would benefit from volunteering in a supportive, inclusive environment. If you have a disability, mental health issues or face any barrier to volunteering or work, please get in touch.
Superhero masks and capes are optional of course!
If you’re up for joining the group, you can register here. If you’d like to help as an Activities Support Volunteer, you can express your interest here. For more information, please contact Sue Greene on 02392 604694 (Mondays and Tuesdays) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
