Volunteering can make a real difference to your own life and the lives of those around you.
You may be looking to make new friends, develop valuable skills for your CV, boost your confidence or would simply like to help others in the community. We can support you in finding a suitable volunteer role, or help you build your confidence if you’re not quite ready to volunteer yet. We also have exciting group volunteering opportunities with the Gosport Timebank and Loud & Proud. Please see below for further information.
Go Volunteer is Gosport Voluntary Action’s volunteering service. We can support you in finding a role that suits your skills, interests and the time that you would like to give. For more information please see our Go Volunteer page.
If you feel you are not quite ready to volunteer, or would like to gain confidence and receive further support, you may be interested in our free ‘Preparation for Volunteering’ course. Further details are on our Supported Volunteering page.
We’re very excited to be able to offer our new Timebanking project – a way for people to help others in the community and be rewarded for it – in time! For full details please see Timebanking @ GVA.
If you are aged between 16 and 25 you may be interested in Loud & Proud – a volunteering group for young people, who take part in a range of interesting and exciting activities to support the community and raise awareness and money for charities. More information can be found on our Loud & Proud page.
