Further information

Mend and Tend workers are recruited on a self-employed basis. They are not professionals, however they are people with relevant experience and good DIY skills as well as being reliable, honest and trustworthy.

Mend and Tend workers have submitted two references and have all undergone a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check. For your safety, they will carry Gosport Voluntary Action identity cards.

As we rely on locally based workers to provide this service, it may not be possible to do your work immediately. We will add your name to our waiting list and then contact you when someone is free to help.
