Further information

DART & Garden workers are retired/semi-retired people who are recruited on a self-employed basis. They are not professionals, however they are people with relevant experience and good DIY skills as well as being reliable, honest and trustworthy.

DART and Garden workers have submitted two references and have all undergone a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check. For your safety, they will carry Gosport Voluntary Action identity cards.

As we rely on locally based workers to provide this service, it may not be possible to do your work immediately. We will add your name to our waiting list and then contact you when someone is free to help.

Would you like to become a DART and Garden Worker?

We are currently looking for people with good DIY, manual or gardening skills to help us deliver this service. For more information or help with any of the above, please contact the team on 02392 601314 or e-mail dart.gardens@gva.org.uk
