Gosport Community Response
Gosport Voluntary Action (GVA) in partnership with Gosport Borough Council (GBC), have been supporting residents through the pandemic since March. A team of trained, police checked volunteers are matched with residents in need and are helping them with shopping, collecting prescriptions or a regular friendly phone call.
Now that we’re in a new phase of the pandemic and with limited funding, we’re still here for those most vulnerable who have no alternatives and we’re also continuing to find ways to put longer term solutions in place and supporting residents to get the help they need.
I need help
